The Planning Commission meeting will be held on October 21st at 6:00pm at the Municipal Court House. They will consider the matter at a public hearing and will give interested parties an opportunity to speak on the issue of rezoning the Tarbox Ct and Georgetown Communications (includes Warehouse on Cannon St., Harborwalk Marina and Chamber of Commerce) properties to a Master Plan Residential.
Please plan to attend, this is a very important meeting. Major concerns: impacts on flooding, the integrity of the historic district and the lack of transparency on the design just to mention a few.

On October 21, 2025, the City Planning Commission voted 4-2 to NOT recommend the approval of the Tarbox Ct and Georgetown Communications properties rezoning application. The application now moves on to the City Council for review and vote. Meeting date to be announced.
